What happens

Two men stand in a plain grey office in a black-and-white cartoon. A thin man in a dark jacket and white shirt smokes a pipe on the left while a short-haired man in a white shirt and bow tie holds a black telephone handset to his ear beside a black rotary phone on a desk at right. The man in the jacket reaches over and takes the mouthpiece from the bow-tie man's hand, then keeps smoking as the bow-tie man, wide-eyed and grimacing, clutches his head and throws up his other arm. The scene cuts to a close-up of a white-gloved hand pulling open a wooden drawer with a small round knob.
