What happens

Mr. Burns, frail and stooped with a hooked nose and grey hair at the sides, stands beside a projector at left while Smithers, in a green jacket and pink bow tie, leans over a strapped-in orange-furred creature with a long grey snout and electrodes on its head. The creature sits in a chair in a dim blue room, eyes wide and teeth bared, as Smithers' yellow hand lowers a purple syringe toward its head and then holds a syringe near its face. The projector beam lights a wall screen that then shows a cartoon mushroom cloud with orange sky over a green field.
