About the episode

While Springfield chases a $130 million lottery jackpot, Santa's Little Helper falls ill and needs a $750 operation. The family pays for it by cutting back on beer, haircuts and lottery tickets, but their grumbling drives the dog away, and Mr. Burns takes him in and trains him as an attack dog. Bart later finds him at Burns's mansion, where memories of home break the conditioning.
