Homer Simpson sits in a kitchen with purple cabinets and his arms thrown wide while Marge Simpson stands behind him

What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavy in a white shirt, sits in a kitchen with purple cabinets and his arms thrown wide while Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive and green dress, stands behind him. Homer grimaces and turns his head toward the brown greyhound, Santa's Little Helper, which is held in his lap and nuzzles at his arm with its mouth open. Over the frames Homer's expression shifts from exasperated to downcast while his hand rests on the dog, and Marge keeps a steady, watchful look. Kitchen shelves hold a canister with a rooster design, a blue kettle, and wooden spoons in a jar.
