What happens

Mr. Burns, the frail, very thin, stooped old man with a hooked nose and grey hair at the sides, sits in a tall red chair behind a dark desk in his dim office, his hands resting on the desk beside a manila folder, a blue telephone, and a green desk lamp. Facing him in the right foreground is a large, bald, heavy yellow figure, seen from behind and partly out of frame, who is Homer. Across the frames Burns's mouth shifts from a closed-mouth stare to an open, grinning expression, with his wide eyes staring ahead and his hands staying flat on the desk while Homer's head and shoulders remain motionless at the edge of the picture.
