What happens

Bart, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt, stands in a wood-panelled booth beside a wall clock and a rack of equipment, his mouth wide open and hands raised in alarm. The scene then moves to a tiled studio where an unnamed blonde woman with a tall bouffant, orange top and headphones sings with her eyes closed while a man with dark hair plays a stringed instrument at left and a man in a brown fedora plays keyboard at right, with cigarette smoke curling up and a round studio lamp on the wall. She opens her eyes wide, then turns her head and keeps singing with her eyes shut as the musicians play on.
