What happens

Principal Skinner, in a grey suit and orange tie, stands beside a young girl in a pink pinafore dress with shoulder-length light brown hair, while Mrs. Krabappel, with her tall brown hairdo and green cardigan, holds a white sheet of paper nearby in a classroom with a chalkboard, lockers, and a framed portrait on the wall. Skinner smiles and talks while keeping his hand on the girl's shoulder, and Krabappel glances sideways with a tight grin as the girl stares wide-eyed, then lowers her eyelids and looks sullen. The group stays gathered near the open doorway beneath a yellow alphabet strip above the chalkboard.
