What happens

Principal Skinner, seen from behind in a suit with neat grey hair, stands at a classroom doorway looking through its window while a framed portrait of a white-haired man hangs on the green wall. Inside, Mrs. Krabappel, with her tall brown hairdo and green cardigan, grips the shoulders of a new girl with long curly orange hair and a pink dress, then steps back and stands beside her in front of a corkboard, with Bart, Milhouse and a lavender-haired girl with a purple bow watching from their desks. The students sit at their desks watching as the new girl stands alone facing the class, with papers pinned to the corkboard behind her.
