What happens

Lisa, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair in a light green dress, sits cross-legged on a rug reading a purple book labeled ETERNITY, while Homer, the bald heavy man in a white shirt, lies stretched out across a dark couch behind her, holding a red and white soda can. In the first frames Homer's head sits at the right with his body draped over the couch back, and he reaches out with one arm as his eyes wander. He then sprawls farther along the couch, reaching his arm down toward the floor, where a blue remote lies near a dark wastebasket beside a purple pole. In the final frame he lounges with his head resting on his hand and his eyes half closed, the soda can balanced on the couch back, while Lisa keeps reading with a sideways glance. The purple wall, a dark cabinet on the left, and a patterned oval rug complete the room.
