What happens

Kent Brockman, the grey-haired news anchor in a blue suit and dark tie, sits behind a desk holding a sheet of paper and speaks while small inset screens behind him show a man biting a burger and a man holding an ice cream cone. The scene then moves to a bearded, heavyset man in a white cap and a blue Hawaiian shirt with green stars, who spreads his hands and gestures, followed by a bald, heavyset man in a dark jacket leaning on a chair labeled HITCHCOCK and giving a sly sideways look. It ends with a jolly man in a Santa suit, round glasses and a purple pipe, holding a red sack and grinning against a green background.
