Homer first appears in a desert scene with a blue van and blue car driving past a chain-link fence while green glowing shapes pulse in a trench
The Simpsons, “Homer Goes to College” (season 5, episode 3), 3:11–3:25
What happens
Homer, glowing green in a torn white shirt, first appears in a desert scene with a blue van and blue car driving past a chain-link fence while green glowing shapes pulse in a trench. He clenches his fist, then raises his clawed glowing hands with a dazed, wide-eyed expression against a bright blue sky with clouds. The scene then shifts to Carl, in a white coat and hard hat, and a woman in a matching coat and hard hat watching through a window as workers in white suits spray blue foam across a parking lot.
