What happens

Homer, the bald, heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, stands at a pair of outdoor payphones on a paved courtyard, holding a receiver to his ear, while a thin, stooped old man with grey hair and a hooked nose is seen in the foreground holding a receiver of his own. The scene then cuts to the brick front of Jefferson Hall, a three-story school building with ivy on its walls, a set of entrance steps, and a sign reading 'Jefferson Hall' above the double wooden doors. Next, Homer is seen at a brown door marked 222, holding a grey card or note in one hand, looking puzzled. Finally, Homer reaches out and grasps the round knob of the same door, pulling it toward himself as he looks off to the side.
