Bart and Lisa sit worried in a room with a cash register and shelves

What happens

Bart, a spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, and Lisa, a girl with star-shaped spiky hair and a red dress with a pearl necklace, sit worried in a room with a cash register and shelves. The scene cuts to a TV screen reading "TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES PLEASE STAND BY," showing a cartoon figure with a TV for a head and a chef's hat, surrounded by a bird, a spring and symbols, then to Bart and Lisa riding in a light-colored convertible with police cars trailing behind across a desert of mesas at sunset. The final frames show a blue "STATE LINE 2 MILES" road sign beside a highway lined with cacti and shrubs, with the car's approach no longer visible.
