Chief Wiggum peers out from the window of a white garbage truck as it rides up a towering, debris-strewn landfill mound among reddish canyon walls

What happens

Chief Wiggum, the fat police chief in his blue uniform and cap, peers out from the window of a white garbage truck as it rides up a towering, debris-strewn landfill mound among reddish canyon walls. Homer, bald with stubble and wearing a white shirt, leans out of the same truck window beside him, eyes wide and mouth open. The truck reaches the summit, where a lightning-like bolt of electricity flashes beside it and a small blue vehicle sits on a ledge in the background. Then the truck tumbles or slides down the pile, and the scene cuts to a view of Homer's and the policeman's sides, with Homer's purple pants and dark shoe poking out of the window and disappearing inside as the truck carries on. Scattered trash includes bottles, cans, paper and scraps across the mound.
