Marge drives a light blue convertible along a cliff edge at sunset, then the car flies off the cliff and sails over the canyon
The Simpsons, “Marge on the Lam” (season 5, episode 6), 20:16–20:29
What happens
Marge, with her tall blue beehive, drives a light blue convertible along a cliff edge at sunset, then the car flies off the cliff and sails over the canyon. A white police car with a flashing light, driven by Chief Wiggum, glides through the orange sky, and later it tumbles down onto a heap of trash at the bottom of a rocky canyon. Smoke drifts up from the wreck, and a tiny blue-haired figure watches from a ledge above while a lightning-like streak flashes behind the truck. The scene fades to pale, washed-out tones as the car settles in the garbage.
