What happens

A black cat and a blue mouse, cartoon characters on a purple-framed screen, appear in a forest under the title card reading "AAAHHH! WILDERNESS!" in pink and green letters. The mouse, wearing an orange vest, roasts a marshmallow on a stick over a flaming campfire while the cat stands beside him. Rain then falls on the woods, and the mouse sits by a smoking fire pit as the cat sits strumming a blue guitar, followed by the mouse holding a red mallet and a bundle of green tent stakes in the downpour. Finally the cat lies stretched out in a tent-like shape over a pole while the mouse kneels beside him, hammering at the ground with the red mallet.
