What happens

Bart Simpson, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, looks worried at a classroom desk while a one-off classmate with dark curly hair sits behind him, and then a crowd of classmates throws their arms up and cheers around him. The scene shifts to the living room, where Homer Simpson, bald and in a white shirt and blue jeans, sits on a brown couch holding a microphone on a cord connected to a recorder on his belt. He gestures with his free hand and raises a fist as Lisa Simpson, in her red dress, reads a red book beside him beneath a sailboat painting, a purple lamp, a teal telephone and a tall orange floor lamp.
