About the episode
Bored on a school outing to a box factory, Bart slips off to the Channel 6 studios nearby and becomes Krusty the Clown's overworked assistant after fetching him a Danish. When Bart botches a sketch and blurts out "I didn't do it," the line becomes a nationwide catchphrase and merchandise craze. Bart soon tires of being known for one phrase, and so does his audience.
