Homer Simpson and Apu Nahasapeemapetilon stand together on a red carpet in a purple-columned hall

What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavyset in a white shirt and blue pants with a patch, and Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, in a green coat and cream trousers with a backpack of rolled mats and papers, stand together on a red carpet in a purple-columned hall. Homer holds a walking stick and Apu holds one too, with a bundle of papers on his back and a trash can nearby. Apu's arms stay at his sides while he speaks, and Homer glances over and then turns his attention toward a tall figure with a long white wig and a green-lidded drink cup in the right foreground. In the later moments the white-haired figure's shape fills the right side while Homer raises a hand to his chin and Apu shifts slightly, both still on the red carpet.
