What happens

Two uniformed men drive a white ambulance with flashing red lights along a tree-lined road, with the word AMBULANCE painted on its front. The scene moves to a hospital room where Homer lies in bed beside a heart monitor and IV stand while a white-coated doctor holds a clipboard and Marge, holding Maggie, stands with Bart and Lisa. Patty and Selma, the grey-violet-haired twins, then stand at a shelf of orange pill bottles, and one holds up a small Homer doll.
