What happens

Homer, the bald, heavy man in a white shirt, sits at a dining table with a plate of food, a glass of milk, and a knife and spoon, first poking at the food with a fork. He then picks up a white cloth napkin and grins while holding it up to his face, then stares at it in puzzlement as Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart clerk in a green shirt, stands beside him holding a stack of white napkins. The scene ends with Homer dabbing at his mouth with the napkin while Apu watches him.
