What happens

Apu, a dark-skinned man with black hair, a green jacket and cream trousers, stands on a red stool in a pink room, first with his arms flung wide and then holding a curved wooden cane across his hands while grinning. Homer in his white shirt, Bart with spiky hair, Lisa with her star-shaped spiky hair, and Marge with her tall blue beehive and red beads gather around him, while Maggie with her pacifier and blue bow is held close to Marge at the right. A small bag of green produce sits at the left edge of the scene, and the family looks up at Apu as he speaks and gestures.
