What happens

A thin clerk with freckles, a yellow bow tie and a red vest stands behind a store counter holding a purple-boxed doll, while a girl with orange hair and a bow and a dark-haired girl in an orange shirt with a pink bow lean in to talk to him. Excited children, including a spiky-haired girl in pearls, then crowd together near shelves of candy and pencils, and the crowd presses forward with raised arms toward a tall yellow doll with long hair stretched across the scene.
