About the episode
Lisa is outraged by the demeaning lines spoken by Talking Malibu Stacy, the newest version of the doll. When the toy company brushes off her complaints, Waylon Smithers helps her find Stacy Lovell, the doll's original creator, and together they design Lisa Lionheart, a doll that encourages girls to think for themselves. Its launch is undercut when the Malibu Stacy makers roll out a new version wearing a hat.
