What happens

Homer, bald and stubbly in a white spacesuit, floats with several other astronauts inside a cramped spacecraft cabin while a swarm of potato chips drifts through the air around them. The scene then shows the family on a pink couch in a green-walled living room: Grampa on the left, Marge with her tall blue beehive, Patty and Selma with grey-violet hair, Maggie with a pacifier, and Lisa and Bart sitting on the floor in front, staring ahead.
