What happens

Nelson, the vest-wearing bully, grins in the foreground with his arms spread wide while a classroom descends into chaos at Springfield Elementary. Homer, bald and in a white shirt, is trapped in a hanging wooden birdcage from the ceiling, gripping the bars. A spiky-haired child on a pedestal at the chalkboard throws a paper airplane, which flies past the cage, as Lisa in her red dress runs across the room, a blue-haired boy with glasses hangs upside down near the top left, and a girl with violet hair sits at a desk. Scattered papers litter the floor below the alphabet border, and the scene opens on the school's exterior with its sign reading 'Springfield Elementary School' and an American flag.
