What happens

Homer, in a light blue tuxedo with a bow tie, and Barney, heavy with messy brown hair in a brown suit, appear together in the open doorway of a cream-colored church with stained-glass windows, while an elderly man with a bushy mustache and glasses, in a peach shirt, stands outside on the street. The sign in front reads "First Church of Springfield" with "PRIVATE WEDDING / PLEASE WORSHIP ELSEWHERE" on its board. Barney walks up the path in his brown suit toward the entrance, where Homer waits in the doorway, then the two stand side by side in the doorway as Homer raises one white-gloved hand.
