What happens

Smithers, the thin assistant with glasses and a purple bow tie, and Mr. Burns, the frail, stooped old man with a hooked nose and blue-grey hair, stand together in a wood-panelled room near a window and a sideboard, with Burns leaning toward Smithers, who looks startled and grimaces. Behind them, a few people stand on a red carpet in front of a large purple desk, a bookshelf lines the left wall, and a white polar bear stands by the right edge, while the scene fades from the wide view of a nuclear plant at night with two cooling towers and a large grey building in the foreground to the indoor scene.
