What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavyset in a white shirt and blue pants, kneels on a round purple-lit stage while two green one-eyed aliens, Kang and Kodos, dangle from wires above him with tentacles spread across the floor. The aliens' mouths open and close, showing fangs and dripping slime, and the view moves in to a close-up of one alien, which then lowers its head and drools over the stage. The red-paneled set with rows of round lights and a blue wall panel stays visible behind them.
