What happens

Marge with her tall blue beehive and Homer, seen from behind with his bald head, watch from the bottom of a stage backdrop painted with a map titled 'To Illustrate The Ponderosa in Nevada' showing Reno, Carson City and Lake Tahoe. A glowing yellow fireball swells over the map until a fireman in a red helmet and overalls sprays a hose that puts out the flames and burns a ragged hole through the backdrop, and two feathered, fringed performers run through the opening into view. Captions along the bottom read 'Co-Executive Producer GEORGE MEYER', 'MIKE SCULLY', 'STEVE TOMPKINS' and 'Supervising Producer JONATHAN COLLIER'.
