What happens

Outside the Springfield Costume Shop, a man in a red vest and dark hat stands in the doorway beside a figure in a black gorilla suit, both moving onto the sidewalk past windows with a clown figure and a bunny-suited mannequin, while a puddle of red liquid lies on the pavement. Inside, a heavy yellow-skinned man in a green shirt and purple pants walks past racks of costumes, a Darth Vader mask, and a top hat. Finally, Homer, in a white shirt and blue pants, sits on a tiled bathroom floor beside an older grey-haired man in a green sweater, both hugging their knees as a puddle spreads nearby.
