The Simpsons, “Bart After Dark” (season 8, episode 5), 10:18–10:30
What happens
Bart Simpson, in his orange shirt and blue shorts, sits on a wooden chest against a brick wall beside a wall-mounted telephone and a notice pinned up nearby, while a grey-haired woman in a red high-collared dress stands near the phone. She first gestures toward the phone, then turns to face Bart, who gazes up at her wide-eyed and speaks in a close-up. In the final moment she lifts a limp, tuxedo-clad dummy with a red bow tie by its head next to the phone as Bart watches, and the number 8 is visible on the chest.
