Homer Simpson lies in a rope hammock strung between two trees in the family's backyard, initially dozing with eyes closed

What happens

Homer Simpson, the bald, heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, lies in a rope hammock strung between two trees in the family's backyard, initially dozing with eyes closed. Lisa, in her red dress, watches from a second-floor window of the yellow house with purple shutters. Homer's eyes snap open and he sits up with a startled look as Santa's Little Helper, the brown greyhound, dashes in from the right, teeth bared. Homer's hands grip the hammock edge while the dog runs toward him, and a white cup sits on the grass below. Producer and consulting producer credits in white capital lettering are superimposed over the scene.
