What happens

No characters appear in this moment. It opens on a cartoon view of Springfield, with a nuclear power plant whose twin cooling towers bear atom symbols and whose sign reads "Welcome to Springfield Nuclear Power Plant," then pans across the town's brick buildings, hills and farmland to Springfield Elementary School, whose double doors sit under a sign reading "Springfield Elementary School." The scene then wipes to a blank orange and blue panel with a small colorful element at its right edge.
