What happens

No characters appear in this animated Springfield townscape sequence, so no regulars are present. The scene opens on the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, with its two grey cooling towers marked by atom symbols and a yellow banner reading "WELCOME TO SPRINGFIELD NUCLEAR POWER PLANT" in the foreground, above a hillside of green hills and farmland. The view shifts to a semi-transparent overlay of the town's colorful buildings, including a building with "SPRINGFIELD" lettering, and then pans to a street leading to Springfield Elementary School, with its flagpole, doors and sign. The last moment is a close view of the school's doorway and sign reading "SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" beside a large orange wall, which then gives way to a blank orange and blue wall section.
