What happens

Itchy, the blue mouse in an orange shirt, and Scratchy, the black cat with a grey belly, appear in a cartoon titled "Itchy & Scratchy in Why Do Fools Fall in Lava?" that opens with a yellow title card and a purple volcano with a platform at its summit. On a wooden boardwalk in front of a sky-orange backdrop and a sign reading "VOLCANO BUNGEE JUMP $5", Itchy holds a knife while Scratchy stands with arms out, then Itchy lunges at Scratchy and Scratchy's belly splits open. Scratchy then stumbles away with a rope trailing from his tail, which is tied to a knot, while Itchy is caught behind him, with credits such as "Supervising Producer Ken Keeler", "David S. Cohen" and "Richard Appel" appearing over the scenes.
