What happens

Lisa Simpson, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair in a red dress, sits at a desk by a blue telephone in a pink room with a lamp and a potted plant, while Marge, with her tall blue beehive and green dress, stands behind her. In the first image a wide view shows a church interior with a robed preacher at a lectern and a packed congregation of seated figures, including Homer, Bart and Lisa in the pews on the right, with Lisa already at the aisle. The scene then shifts to the preacher, a thin man with dark hair in a white robe, pausing with his hand at his chin behind the lectern. Back in the house, Lisa rests her chin on her hand, looking bored and tired by the phone, and then sits upright with a sour expression while Marge stands beside her, first with arms at her sides and then with one hand raised and a pained look on her face. Notable objects include the blue phone with coiled cords, the stained-glass backdrop in the church, and the framed potted plant on the wall.
