What happens

Homer and Marge Simpson are in their pink bedroom, with Homer in the bed sitting up holding a donut and Marge propped up reading a book in a purple bed beneath framed pictures of Bart and Lisa. Homer then gets out of bed in blue pajamas and walks across the red rug toward the doorway, leaving Marge alone reading with the bed covers pulled up. The room stays still apart from their movements, with a small alarm clock on the nightstand and a lamp on each side of the bed. In the final moment Marge is shown sliding down under the covers and reaching toward the lamp, and the bed is empty of Homer, who has gone.
