About the episode
After Bart gets drunk at Springfield's St. Patrick's Day parade, the town enforces a forgotten 200-year-old law banning alcohol, and the incorruptible lawman Rex Banner replaces Chief Wiggum. Homer becomes the secret Beer Baron, rolling bootleg beer to Moe's speakeasy inside hollow bowling balls. When Banner closes in, Homer arranges for Wiggum to arrest him so the chief can win his job back.
