The Simpsons, “Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment” (season 8, episode 18), 15:54–16:05
What happens
Moe, the grey-haired bartender, pops up through a hatch at the top of a staircase with his arms spread wide and a scowl, while Homer, in a brown fedora with a bow and a white shirt, stares up at him and then talks with a bored expression. The scene moves to the outside of the Houseware Warehouse, whose sign reads "Your Super Super-Store Store" above parked cars, and then inside, where Homer stands at a wooden checkout counter under a hanging BATHROOMS sign beside a grey-haired clerk in an orange vest, with bathtubs, toilets, and towels displayed around them.
