The Simpsons, “Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment” (season 8, episode 18), 5:51–6:03
What happens
Mr. Burns, the frail, stooped old man with a hooked nose, stands with his thin assistant Smithers in glasses and a boy in a red shirt, watching a pile of Duff barrels on a dusty dump under a blue sky. A yellow bulldozer then shoves a heap of dirt and rubble over the barrels, while the Springfield Shopper headline 'CITY GOES DRY TODAY' with the subhead 'Bums Extend Deadline' opens the sequence, which begins as a black screen. Along the way a red Duff delivery truck drives across the wasteland past a green sign and piles of junk.
