What happens

Bart Simpson lies in bed against a red headboard and purple quilted pillows, holding a large cordless phone to his ear with a worried expression beneath a grinning clown face poster. A partly visible person with brown hair appears at the lower right edge as Bart keeps talking on the phone. A brown-and-white long-haired dog, not Santa's Little Helper, walks up beside the bed, then picks up the phone in its mouth and carries it across the purple bedspread while Bart watches. A blue nightstand with a lava lamp sits nearby.
