What happens

Mr. Burns, the frail, very thin, stooped old man with a hooked nose and grey hair at the sides, sits in a tall red armchair behind a purple desk holding a manila folder, while a row of six grey-suited men with red ties stands behind the desk and a man in a green sweater stands at the left edge. The scene then narrows to Burns and Smithers, his thin assistant with glasses, wearing an olive jacket, purple bow tie and ID badge, standing beside the desk. Burns raises and lowers the folder, grinning and glancing over it, as Smithers looks on, with loose papers and stock certificates spread on the desk and a red telephone and a green stack of papers nearby.
