What happens

Lisa Simpson, with her spiky star-shaped hair, stands in a line of uniformed boys and girls in light grey shirts and blue trousers, with Bart Simpson in orange-shirted uniform beside her, all looking anxious in front of green bushes and a blue sky. The scene then shifts to an overhead view of a crowded cafeteria with rows of teal tables where uniformed children sit eating, and Lisa sits alone at an empty bench, slowly lifting a fork toward a slice of cake on a tray. Lisa's expression grows downcast as she eats in a long institutional dining hall with fluorescent lights, while the other children sit at tables around her.
