Homer and Bart are in a driveway beside a pink car in front of a yellow garage

What happens

Homer, the bald heavy man in a white shirt and purple pants, and Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, are in a driveway beside a pink car in front of a yellow garage. The opening frames are black and then show drifting clouds over blue sky, with the title text 'THE SIMPSONS' appearing in yellow letters that grow larger. The scene then cuts to the driveway, where the pink car pulls up in front of the garage and Bart stands on a skateboard at the left as Homer gets out of the driver's door. Homer then walks to the front of the car carrying a stack of books, with Lisa, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair, riding a red bike behind him. In the final moment Homer bends over the hood of the pink car with his hands on it, while a mailbox sits on the grass at the bottom left.
