What happens

Bart lies on his stomach on a striped pink-and-blue rug in the living room, chin resting on his hands, eyes wide and looking up and to the side. Beside him Lisa sits cross-legged on the rug in her red dress and pearl necklace, while Homer sits on the brown couch in his white shirt and Marge stands tall with her blue beehive next to the couch. Maggie sits on the rug with her pacifier and blue bow, and Santa's Little Helper, the brown greyhound, stretches out at the lower right. Across the scene the family watches something off-screen to the left, with Homer's mouth open and Marge's eyebrows raised, and in the last frames Homer leans forward with his mouth wide open. The room has a purple lamp, a framed sailboat picture on the pink wall, and a small TV set in the foreground.
