What happens

Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive, applauds alongside a group of red-sweatered townspeople in a meeting room with a bell on the wall and a corkboard of pictures, while a dark-haired, bespectacled man in a red jacket stands behind a table holding a plate of cookies and a box, gesturing and smiling. The clapping continues as he keeps talking, and then the scene shifts to an older grey-haired man in a red jacket and black tie slumped at a desk beside a bottle of Bromo Seltzer. He rests his head on his hand, opens his mouth in a tired sigh, and glances upward, with folders and house pictures on the wall behind him.
