What happens

Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red jacket over a green skirt, reads from a sheet of paper in a narrow kitchen lined with hanging pots and pans, while Carl, a Black man in a striped sweater and blue jeans, stands by the white counter. Marge gestures with an outstretched arm toward the room and then toward the counter, and Carl's expression shifts from a blank stare to a grimace and then a smug smile. Carl then steps forward and grips the handle of the white range door in front of the counter.
