What happens

Homer, Lisa, Bart and Maggie are gathered on the pink living room floor beside a decorated Christmas tree with a gold star on top, with wrapped presents piled at its base. In the early frames the tree stands alone and empty of people; then Homer, in blue pajamas, kneels at the left and reaches up to hang or adjust a wrapped gift on the branches, while Lisa crawls in the center and Bart kneels at the right holding a wrapped present. Maggie sits at the far right by the window with a pacifier, and throughout the sequence Homer shifts his hands among the branches and presents. No on-screen text is visible.
