What happens

A spiky-haired yellow-skinned boy in a green shirt and a girl with spiky hair in a teal dress stand in a checkered-floor kitchen beside a round table with a blue cloth and twelve drinking glasses filled with water. The boy stands at the left edge of the table, looks around and grimaces, his mouth moving as he talks, while the girl at the right stands by a chair, eyes half-closed and watching him. Across the frames the boy's expression shifts from a sideways glance to a wide-eyed, open-mouthed look, and the girl slowly turns her gaze toward the glasses before the scene ends with the boy looking intently ahead.
